Velo Birmingham & Midlands Event Day Cover

We provide insurance under a “group policy” to cover participants competing in the Velo Birmingham & Midlands event.

If you opted in while purchasing your event entry, you are covered for your booking fees if you can’t enter the event due to things like illness or injury, as well as theft and damage to your bicycle on race day. Unfortunately, the group policy does not cover the costs of event entry if it is cancelled by the event organiser.

The Yellow Jersey Event Day Protection Insurance is primarily set up to refund you should you have an injury or illness in the lead up to an event and to provide cover your bike during the event. It does not cover cancellation or postponement by the organisers and specifically excludes cover in the event of a Pandemic.
