Freedom to compete

Our Ultimate tier insurance policies cover accidental damage and liability while racing in the UK and abroad, along with extra features such as cover in transition zones

TRANSIT & VEHICLE

Getting yourself and your TT-bike to a triathlon event shouldn’t be a source of stress. Our Ultimate Triathlon Insurance package covers your bike and bike box end-to-end, including if it is stolen from a vehicle you are in charge of. If your triathlon bike is delayed or damaged by an airline, we’ll even cover the cost of a hire bike so you don’t miss your event.

3RD PARTY PUBLIC LIABILITY

You’ll be covered for claims up to £2M, with zero excess. Any third-party costs are covered, be it damage to someone’s property or a collision with a pedestrian, or fellow cyclist. Our third party is valid everywhere except for North America (including Canada).

£15K SINGLE BIKE LIMIT

Our Ultimate policy covers single bicycles up to £15,000, meaning that your esteemed triathlon bicycle will be protected should anything happen to it. You shouldn’t have to compromise on what you ride for fear of damage or theft – and with our triathlon insurance policy, you won’t have to.

RACE FEE CANCELLATION

It’s frustrating to train for an event only to be forced to pull out due to injury, but this frustration needn’t mean you lose out financially. If something prevents you from attending your triathlon event, we’ll cover you up to £500 for any non-refundable entry fees. Pulling out because you haven’t done enough training isn’t covered, unfortunately!

CYCLE EXPERTS

Dealing with insurance claims for triathlon bikes can be complicated, and we know from experience that an outsourced claims company will never be able to provide the level of customer service we demand. This is why a dedicated team in our office handles all of our claims. Many of our staff started their careers in local bike shops, and come to us already experts when it comes to the latest triathlon kit. We make sure our team stays up to date with the latest suppliers and builds relationships with the best shops and mechanics across the country so we can sort your insurance claim as quickly as possible.

TRIATHLON TRANSITION

Many triathlon events require you to rack your bike in transition the night before. Big events such as IronMan may require you to leave your bike with them even earlier than this. If the venue or event security be compromised and your bike is stolen from the transition area, our Ultimate Triathlon Insurance policy will cover it for theft up to 48 hours before your race starts. If you add helmet and clothing cover to your policy, we’ll even cover your wetsuit should it go missing from the transition zone.

PHYSIO COVER

Training for triathlons can be dangerous, so if you injure yourself while riding an insured bike our policies all include physio cover. The Ultimate policy covers up to £750 in physio costs.

25% RENEWAL DISCOUNT

We offer everyone a renewal discount whether they’ve made a claim with us or not. More importantly, claiming with us won’t push up your home insurance premiums.
