There is no ‘I’ in team and once you’re a Yellow Jersey customer we want it to stay that way. Whilst most companies market no-claims-discounts as a ‘benefit’ to their customers, we see it as deeply unfair. If something happens to your bicycle, or if you have a problem while travelling, we want you to feel like you can make a claim with us.

At the end of a 12 month annual policy with Yellow Jersey Cycle Insurance, we invite all of our customers to renew with a 25% renewal discount, regardless of whether you made a claim.

If you are discouraged from making a claim because you want to preserve a no claims discount, then what is the point of buying insurance in the first place?

By guaranteeing a 25% renewal discount to everyone, regardless of whether you made a claim or not, we hope to encourage you to get out on your bike and feel confident that we have you covered.

After you pay for your insurance, we’ll take you to your customer dashboard where you can manage your policy. Auto renewal is switch on by default, but you have the option to switch it off again.

About a month out from the end of your policy you’ll be sent your renewal terms. We’ll either remind you that the auto-renewal is about to take place, or we’ll encourage you to come back to the site and switch auto-renewal back on, or to complete the renewal online, making any adjustments you might want at the same time.

Whatever the case, you are completely in control of your renewal with us, and you aren’t going to get any surprises.

To sweeten the deal even more, we offer further discounts on your renewal through our refer a friend system. For every friend, club mate, or team member that uses your referral code, you will save £10 on the cost of your annual bicycle insurance renewal.
