The Penshurst round of the London Cyclocross League always throws up some surprises. A particularly demanding course with fast, tricky downhill sections and muddy slogs back up, made all the more challenging by recent heavy rain. Organised by our local club, I was roped in to help marshal. Fortunately I managed to escape and snap some of the carnage.
